Join Us

Anyone who is interested in joining us to sing is most welcome to come along and meet us all, or why not come along to one of our Choral Workshops. We currently have vacancies in all voice parts and would love to see you. We are an inclusive choir so there are no auditions. Rehearsals begin at 7.00pm  with warm up exercises based around vocal training techniques. We then focus on the music that we are rehearsing for the next concert until 8.00pm. We break for 20 minutes to have tea/coffee and refreshments and a chat, then we always finish at 9.00pm. Each section of the choir has a voice rep’ who ensures that any new members are looked after.

Rehearsals take place on most Monday evenings (7.00pm to 9.00pm) in Titley Village Hall, which is about 3 miles from Kington. It is near The Stagg Inn on the B4355 on the road to Presteigne. We take a summer break from the middle of July, then rehearsals restart in September to prepare for our concert in December.

The current membership fee is £100 – but donations above this are always welcome. There is an additional charge for music score hire.
